How much do you charge for a wedding in Rochester, NY?

My rate for photographing weddings is $2,700. You will receive a full day of photography coverage, an engagement/couples photoshoot, and 200-300 photos from your wedding day hosted in a private (digital) album on my website.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! I frequently travel to Vermont and the northeast to photograph weddings. Please keep in mind that there is an additional cost for traveling and lodging outside of Rochester, NY.

What happens if your camera fails?

No fear! I always use two cameras when photographing weddings and events and keep a third in my bag.

What happens if you become ill or are unable to photograph my wedding?

While I have never had to back out of a wedding, I have contingencies in place should I become ill or have a personal emergency. I know several extremely talented photographers in the area to ask for help in the unlikely event that I cannot photograph your wedding.

Can I see more of your sample photos?

Yes! I do not give out the passwords to other clients’ wedding albums, but I am happy to share more examples over Zoom or in person.

Do you have a second photographer?

I almost always work alone when photographing a wedding. However, if you prefer to have a second photographer present, we can discuss options.

What is your process?

If you’re interested in hiring me, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me via the contact form on this website. After that, we’ll schedule a time to discuss the details of your wedding to see if I am a good fit for you.

If you decide to work with me, I’ll pass along a contract for you to look over and sign. Once the contract is signed, we’ll schedule a meeting to take your engagement shoot photos.

Before your wedding, we’ll likely meet virtually a couple of more times to ensure that everyone is prepared. I will also attend the wedding rehearsal to get a sense of the ceremony.

How long before we get to see the wedding photos?

It usually takes me two to four weeks to edit my photos from a wedding.

Should I save you a plate?

While you do not have to feed me, I will certainly never turn down food!

Do you film weddings?

At this time, I do not film weddings.

Is there anything that I need to do before the wedding regarding photography?

Sometime before the wedding, you’ll want to provide me with a list of all of the shots you’re hoping for me to capture. You’ll also want to provide me with a group shot list. That’s it!
